AirBadge’s software interfaces with LenelS2’s OnGuard access control security system
Santa Rosa, CA, March 18 — AirBadge today announced that it has received LenelS2 factory certification and joined the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). AirBadge software interfaces with the OnGuard® access control system and synchronizes information between AirBadge software and airport access control systems.
“AirBadge has completed required factory testing at LenelS2 to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system. AirBadge sends information directly to connected systems in the airport badging office and eliminates redundant steps such as re-entering data into multiple systems,” said John Marchioli, OAAP product management, LenelS2. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program.”
“The interface allows for the direct transmission of information from AirBadge to the access control systems, enabling airport staff to receive immediate notifications regarding badge status changes and prepopulate data for new individuals without the redundancy of manual data entry.
“Our interface with OnGuard® is not just about operational efficiency; it reinforces our commitment to data integrity. In the aviation industry, where security is paramount, maintaining the accuracy and consistency of data across platforms is critical. By connecting multiple systems, we not only save time but also significantly reduce the margin for error.
“For our end-users, the benefits of this integration are multifaceted. It simplifies their day-to-day tasks, reduces the potential for data discrepancies, and enhances overall security. At AirBadge, the LenelS2 interface enables us to deploy our tools at even more airports throughout the US,” states Nathan Smallcomb, Chief Technology Officer at AirBadge.
AirBadge understands the unique compliance challenges faced by airports. The SaaS platform serves only the aviation industry, building solutions that meet the unique demands of airport operations and TSA regulations. AirBadge saves time and increases accuracy by sending information directly to integrated systems.
